Epic sunsets, easy connections with friends and cocktails with a kick keep us returning to the serene natural canopies of Tree Monkey. Afternoons tend to turn into evenings. The ambience and music changes throughout the day. Lunch is bright upbeat and picturesque. Sun rays stream through the natural blinds of the leaves, and monkeys swing from branch to trunk to the sounds of chill Putumayo tunes at dusk. As the skies darken and the air cools, the evenings pick up a romantic mood for some, and sense of adventure for others. Thai owner, Wasika (who always has a cheeky twinkle in her eye), says the concept embraces the relationship with the four elements – wind, earth, water, fire (from the sun) plus themonkeys!
