Christmas 2020 Kuala Lumpur – Takeaway & Dine-in Meals
We’ve been doing some early festive feasting at The Yum List having tried several dine-in menus for Christmas 2020 in Kuala Lumpur and a handful of Xmas takeaway options too. Here’s a summary of our what we’ve found. Hope it’s helpful in planning this year’s celebrations.
Christmas 2020 Kuala Lumpur – Takeaway & Delivery Menus
Hilton Kuala Lumpur
Last year, Hilton Kuala Lumpur blew us away with their Christmas buffet. For traditionalists, it was one of the most spectacular smorgasbords we’d come across, with the biggest wow factor being every sort of roast imaginable. This year, we’re taking a tamer approach and avoiding crowds but that doesn’t mean we don’t get to benefit from Hilton KL’s Christmas roast expertise. Beef, lamb and turkey are all available with matching condiments, sides and desserts. The Santa’s Turkey Box (RM450) is one of the best value on the market with sides, condiments, sauces and dessert included.
Troika Sky Dining
Troika Sky Dining has added roast delivery to their already comprehensive range of culinary festive offerings. Customers can choose a whole roast turkey (RM 580, 4.5kg), a leg of lamb (RM580 3.5kg) or corn-fed chicken (RM350, 2.2kg), and receive all the sauces, sides and desserts to go with. Additionally, an extensive list of wine is available making it a one-stop-shop for your year-end celebrations.
Rockafellers
Rockafeller’s Christmas Takeaway Family Platter is a feast of roasted crispy pork belly, BBQ pork ribs with a honey glaze, assorted sausages, roasted whole stuffed chicken, and generous servings of sauces and sides. The meal is excellent value at RM348 nett and serves six to eight people. Seriously, at that price (and taste – very good), why on earth would you spend hours of labour in shopping and cooking?
Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur
The crew at Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur are spreading holiday cheer with delicious Christmas roast delivery from Quan’s Kitchen. Their roasted in Chinatown Turkey Takeaway (RM450 for 5kg) features their own unique recipe – Oloiya Bak Kwa Crusted Mandarin Turkey and comes with wonderfully fresh sides and sauces. This is one of the most delicious recipes we’ve tried recently offering a delicate local twist on tradition.
Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur
Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has always put on a show-stopping display and range of offerings to ring in the festive season. With 2020 being a little bit special, the hotel team have gone a step further and extended the spirit by giving The Yum List readers a special discount. By quoting SLKLYumListXmas15 when ordering the Christmas Collection (takeaway and delivery) here or making a reservation for the Seafood Assisted Buffet at Lemon Garden, readers will be entitled to 15% discount.
Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s roasted turkeys begin at RM500 with any number of inclusions such as seafood, sides, dessert and wine that can be added on.
Cata Restaurant
In addition to the traditional turkey and trimmings, Cata Restaurant is making tapas boxes! Ideal for get-togethers, both hot and cold tapas boxes can be ordered. Check Cata’s Christmas takeaway menu here.
